Graduates earn 705 degrees from the University of Saint Francis-Fort Wayne


About 60 percent of the 705 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Saint Francis-Fort Wayne in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Wayne conferred 192 bachelor's degrees and 137 associate's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 156 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 78 associate's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse and 61 master's degrees in general business administration and management.

The university enrolled 2,322 students for 2017-18, including 1,906 in undergraduate programs and 416 in graduate programs.
