76 percent of applicants to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College were admitted for fall 2017


At Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, 59 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 90 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Saint Mary of the Woods enrolled 959 students in fall 2017, including 660 in undergraduate and 299 in graduate programs, data shows. 16.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

86 percent of undergraduates are residents of Indiana, and 11 percent are residents of other states. 3 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (80 percent) and Black or African American (4 percent).

The school admitted 76 percent of the 594 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 30 percent enrolled.
